En el presente trabajo se analiza las actividades de un grupo de estudiantes de primero de bachillerato, ante la apatía y desinterés en actividades académicas en la Unidad Educativa Santa Teresita del Niño Jesús, a partir de las asignaturas brindadas por los docentes, para valorar que variables están relacionadas con el rendimiento académico del alumnado.
Se obtiene una muestra de 60 estudiantes entre 14 y 16 años, tomando como referente encuestas con preguntas y objetivos de la investigación a los estudiantes de bachillerato, a su vez entrevistas a docentes encargados de las respectivas asignaturas sobre el grado de irresponsabilidad existente. Se establece la observación en el aula para definir si su comportamiento influye en el desapego de sus actividades académicas.
Se encontró la despreocupación por parte de los padres de familia, quienes no les han inculcado el interés por el estudio. A partir de la visión a los estudiantes de bachillerato se consideró que las limitantes para las actividades académicas son la indisciplina, ausencia de hábitos de estudio, incapacidad grupal, el hecho social es el resultado del fracaso en el aprovechamiento académico.
A partir de estos resultados concluimos que hace falta unificar los criterios y pensamientos entre padres y alumnos, obteniendo la responsabilidad de la orientación, compartida con la educación y habilidades para su formación, apoyando al proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en una sociedad de continuo cambio.

ABSTRACT
In this paper we analyze the activities of a group of students of the first year of high school, in the face of apathy and lack of interest in academic activities in the Educational Unit of Santa Teresita del Niño Jesús, from the subjects offered by the teachers, to assess which variables they are related to the academic performance of the students.
It is obtained from 60 students between 14 and 16 years old, taking as a reference surveys with questions and objectives of the research, in turn interviews with teachers about the degree of irresponsibility existing. The observation is established to define if their behavior in the classroom influences the detachment of their academic activities.
The lack of concern on the part of the parents was found, who have not instilled in them the interest in the study. From the vision to the students of baccalaureate it was considered that the limitations for the academic activities are the indiscipline, absence of habits of study, group incapacity, the social fact is the result of the failure in the academic profit.
From these results we conclude that it is necessary to unify the criteria and thoughts between parents and students, obtaining the responsibility of orientation, shared with education and skills for their formation, supporting the process of teaching and learning in a society of continuous change.
